What was the inspiration behind our Love Collection Bracelets?
Our Love Collection Bracelets were originally designed in Winter 2016, right after our ORIGINAL Bangle Collection Quartz Bracelet was released. Our Love Collection Bracelets were our first designs to use ion plated stainless steel. We loved the quality and look so much, we now use ion plated stainless steel for the majority of our designs.
When designing our Love Collection Bracelets, we really wanted a sleek, simple, and classic design. What is more classic than LOVE?! The four letter word, LOVE, is inscribed on each one of our Love Collection Bracelets and we offer the design in three metal tone options, gold, rose gold and stainless.
What is Ion Plated Stainless Steel?
Ion plating is one of the most advanced surface finishing processes in the jewelry industry to date. The gold coating from traditional coating processes is not as durable or wear resistant. Ion plating adds a titanium nitride layer to stainless steel and then a thin layer of gold coating is applied. KA uses 18k gold on our gold designs. Our silver designs are simply ion plated stainless steel because the natural finish is silver.
